Tallest Building in South Korea: The Lotte World Tower in Seoul is one of the tallest buildings in the world. It is a 555.7 meter skyscraper and is located in Sincheon-dong in the Songpa District. It was opened to the public on April 3, 2017. At the time of writing, it is the tallest building in South Korea and the sixth tallest building in the world.

The Lotte World Tower is one of South Korea’s most impressive buildings, standing 555 meters tall. Although, it is a mixed use building containing retail stores, offices, luxury hotels, and observation decks. It is also home to the world’s tallest observation deck and a six-star hotel. The building is located in the mega Lotte World Mall complex.

The Lotte World Tower broke ground in March 2011 and has become one of the tallest structures in South Korea. Furthermore, the project involved several conceptual designs and was led by KPF, a New York architecture firm. The Lotte Group, the developer, and Lotte Engineering&Construction are also involved in the project. The Lotte World Tower’s structural engineer is Leslie E. Robertson Associates.
The 555-meter monument to Seoul’s skyline reaches heights never before seen in Korea. Hence, the Lotte Construction Company wanted the structure to stand as a landmark in the capital city. Although, the tower design is a stack mix-use program, with retail at lower levels. The top ten stories are earmarked for extensive public uses and entertainment facilities.
Lotte World Tower observatory: Tallest Building in South Korea
Lotte World Tower is the nation’s tallest building and the sixth-tallest in the world.It features a 500-meter observation deck and is also home to the world’s fastest elevator. It’s also home to the Lotte World Mall, which has been in operation since 2014. Also, the mall offers retail and entertainment services to over 28 million visitors a year.

The Lotte World Tower observatory has multiple floors and giant windows that provide 360-degree views of Seoul. You can see the Namsan mountain from the observatory, which is also located near Lotte World theme park. The tower also houses Korea’s first music/concert hall and Asia’s largest cinema and theater. There’s also a health center and fitness center in the tower, as well as a multipurpose space.
The observatory is on the top seven floors of the Lotte World Tower. Although the guests can reach the observatory via the B1 Level of Lotte World Mall. Moreover, it has plenty of signage throughout and information booths that speak English. Hence, a general admission ticket gives you access to all floors except the top floor, and For entry to the 123 Lounge, a unique ticket is necessary.
