Tallest Building in Canada: When it comes to tall buildings, Canada has plenty of them. The tallest buildings in Canada are in Toronto, but there are also many tall buildings in other cities such as Montreal and Calgary. As of December 2017, there are 133 tall buildings in Canada. In fact, 86 of them are in Greater Toronto, which includes almost eight of the tallest buildings in the country.

The One is another high-rise building that’s competing to be Canada’s tallest. Pinnacle International, the developer of Toronto’s One hotel, has filed a request for a height increase on The One. The One will surpass its present height of 298 meters by the end of 2020. It will be a luxury hotel and condominium tower.

CN Tower:

Height: 447 meters (1,465 feet) 
SkyPod is the name of the Western Hemisphere’s tallest observation tower. Further more You can feel the Tower tremble in the wind from up here, which is 447 meters (1,465 feet) above the earth and 33 levels higher than the Main Observation Level.

Before it was finished, the CN Tower changed the skyline of Toronto. Its height soon surpassed the tallest buildings in Toronto. The Canadian National Railway Company originally intended for the CN Tower to serve as a landmark. However, its design was also meant to solve issues with telecommunications.
