The Tallest Man on Earth: Sultan Kosen is an 8 foot, 2.8-inch tall Kurdish farmer. He has acromegaly, which affects his pituitary gland. Brahim Takioullah, the second-tallest man on earth, is another man with acromegaly. He has special shoes designed for his enormous feet.

 

 

March 16, 2012 – Sultan Kosen, the tallest man in history, won’t be setting new height records any longer, but he’s perfectly content with that. Following radiation treatments at the University of Virginia Medical Center (UVM), Kosen appeared to have stopped growing, earning the hospital a spot in the 2012 Guinness World Records.

Robert Pershing Wadlow, the tallest Boy Scout in history, was the type of kid you’d want on your Scout patrol.

He was 7 feet 4 inches tall at the age of 13 — head and shoulders (and most of his torso) above everyone else in his troop.

 

 

One imagines him easily scouting the trail ahead, hanging bear bags by hand, and being chosen first for almost any team sport.

His dimensions, however, had some drawbacks. Although, at 7-foot-4 and 270 pounds, a standard Scout uniform was out of the question. Hence, his Boy Scout uniform apparently required 14 yards of 36-inch-wide material. Moreover, his sleeping bag and tent would have needed to be altered as well.

Kristian Matsson: Tallest Man

The Tallest Man on Earth: Kristian Matsson was born in Dalarna, Sweden, on April 30, 1983. Moreover, he plays guitar, banjo, and piano. As a result In 2006, he released his self-titled EP. His next album, Shallow Grave, came out a year later. Hence, in 2008, he toured with Bon Iver in North America, playing two shows at Town Hall in New York City.

 

 

Because of his similar musical taste to Bob Dylan’s, so he has toured with artists like Bon Iver and Montezumas. He also married to Idiot Wind, a stage name for Amanda Bergman/Hollingby Matsson.
