Tallest Building in Ethiopia: The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia inaugurated its new headquarters building in Addis Ababa recently. Standing at 209 metres tall, the building spans 165,476 square meters and has 53 floors. China State Construction Overseas Development Co. Ltd. developed the project for roughly US$303 million. It features a cinema, shopping mall, conference centre, and cafeteria.

The construction of the building began in July 2015, when China State Construction started the project.
