The Royal Gorge bridge in Colorado was the tallest bridge in the US from 1929 to 2001. Built by the George E. and is close to Canon City. Cole Construction Company. It was the highest suspension bridge in the world until 2001. The heaviest element in the bridge weighs 184,000 pounds. It is also the first of 30 suspension bridges that China has constructed. Although, it is part of the Royal Gorge Park and is located in the town of Canon City. It has a total height of 955 feet. It is part of the Royal Gorge park and attracts more than 500,000 visitors every year. In addition, there are several attractions to see in the park.

The Perrine Bridge, Arizona: Tallest Bridge in United States

Height: 486 feet (148 m)
The Perrine Bridge in northern Coconino County, Arizona is the ninth tallest bridge in the United States. It carries vehicular traffic and pedestrians. The bridge has a total length of 1,500 feet. The deck of the bridge is located at 3,600 feet above sea level. The Navajo Bridge is another name for it. It also serves as the entrance to the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.

Height: 464 feet high / 141 meters high, 377 foot span / 115 meter span
The Moyie River cantilever bridge in Idaho is the fifth tallest bridge in the United States. It serves as a replacement for the earlier bridge that erupted in 1980 and destroyed it. It has a height of 464 feet and a length of 1,223 feet. The Idaho Transportation Department looks after it. It is also one of the few taller bridges that are open to the public.

The total length of the bridge is 4.067 miles. The Astoria-Megler Bridge is another name for the structure. It is a steel truss bridge.
