He has also played one game for the Portland Trail Blazers and one game for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Hence, in the second round of the 2003 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks also picked him. Furthermore, Vranes was born to American parents in West Germany. In the NBA, Vranes was officially listed as 7 feet 5 inches.

Hence, in his first game for the Celtics, he scored four points and grabbed three rebounds in four minutes. Another tall NBA player is Boban Marjanovic. Marjanovic is seven feet 4 inches tall, and is currently playing for the Dallas Mavericks. Although, Boban Marjanovic is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He is also in the NBA’s All-Defensive Second Team, averaged 22 points per game last season. He is also one of the key players in the starting lineup for the Washington Wizards. Boban Marjanovic has also earned NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards twice in the last three years.
